Skin study tests if cutting out mole helps fade white patches

NCT ID NCT07307534

Summary

This study aims to find the better treatment for a skin condition where a mole is surrounded by a white patch (vitiligo). It will compare two approaches in 60 participants aged 6-45: surgically removing the central mole followed by medication, versus using medication alone. Researchers will track skin repigmentation, quality of life, and safety over 6 months to guide future care.
