Mole removal may boost vitiligo treatment: new trial launches

Summary

This study tests whether removing the central mole (nevus) along with standard medication works better than medication alone for people with halo nevus and vitiligo. Sixty participants aged 6 to 45 will be randomly assigned to one of two groups and followed for 6 months. The goal is to see which approach leads to more skin color returning and improves quality of life.
