Gentler dental crown method for kids put to the test
NCT ID NCT07186673
Summary
This study aims to find out if a newer, gentler way to place a stainless steel cap on a child's decayed permanent molar works as well as the standard method. In 10 children, each getting both techniques on different teeth, researchers will compare how well the caps hold up, how they affect the child's bite, and which method the child prefers. The newer 'Hall Technique' doesn't require numbing shots or drilling the tooth down first.
