Hair scan may reveal hidden organ damage in scleroderma
NCT ID NCT04804930
Summary
This study investigates whether a simple, non-invasive hair and scalp examination called trichoscopy can help predict which scleroderma patients might develop serious organ complications. Researchers will compare scalp images from 200 scleroderma patients with those from healthy volunteers to look for patterns. The goal is to find early warning signs of lung, kidney, or heart problems without needing more invasive tests.
