Hair loss mystery: study aims to uncover hidden side effect of breast cancer hormone pills

Summary
This study looks at hair loss in women with breast cancer who are taking hormone therapy (endocrine therapy). While hair loss is a known side effect of chemotherapy, it is less understood with hormone therapy. Researchers will ask 170 women to describe their hair loss symptoms over time to better understand how often it happens, how severe it is, and how it affects their daily lives. The goal is to gather information, not to test a new treatment.
