Scientists harvest hair to grow future replacement cells
NCT ID NCT06764719
Summary
This study aims to collect hair follicles from participants to grow and study different types of cells in the lab. Researchers want to see if cells from hair can be turned into other cell types that might one day help treat conditions like diabetes or injuries. The study involves 100 adults and focuses on understanding how well these cells grow and change, not on providing direct treatment to participants.
