Chinese study reveals how well HAE drugs work in real patients

NCT ID NCT06346899

Summary

This study looked at how well two already-approved drugs work for hereditary angioedema (HAE) in real-world Chinese patients. Researchers reviewed the medical records of 115 patients to see how often attacks occurred while on the preventive drug lanadelumab and how quickly the rescue drug icatibant resolved attacks. The goal was to gather practical information on effectiveness, safety, and how these drugs are actually used in routine medical care.
