First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether drinking enough plain water every day for 4 weeks can change how thirsty healthy young adults feel. It involves 120 people who usually don't drink much plain water but get enough total fluids from other drinks. The goal is to understand if our bodies can adapt to not drinking water and if that affects thirst signals.
