Summary

This early-phase trial is testing whether a form of hyaluronic acid called HA35 can help prevent muscle loss in people with alcoholic hepatitis. 54 participants will take either HA35 or a placebo capsule daily for 90 days. The study involves two in-person visits with muscle biopsies and other tests, plus phone check-ins.
