Scientists test swine flu vaccine safety for expectant mothers

NCT ID NCT01024400

Summary

This study tested a specific H1N1 flu vaccine in pregnant women to see if it safely triggered a protective immune response. It involved about 110 women who were between 22 and 32 weeks pregnant. Researchers gave two vaccine doses and monitored the women's health and immune system reactions to ensure safety for both mother and baby.
