Modified virus teams up with chemo in fight against tough head and neck cancers

NCT ID NCT07398664

Summary

This study is testing a two-part treatment for head and neck cancer that has returned or spread after standard treatments. Doctors will inject a modified virus (H101) designed to attack cancer cells directly into the tumor, combined with a targeted chemotherapy procedure (TACE) that delivers drugs and blocks the tumor's blood supply. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors and control the disease with manageable side effects for up to 20 patients.
