New antibiotic combo tested to wipe out stomach bug
NCT ID NCT06412588
Summary
This study tested three different 14-day antibiotic combinations to eliminate H. pylori, a common stomach bacteria that can cause ulcers and other problems. Researchers compared a standard four-drug treatment against two simpler two-drug combinations in 579 adults with the infection. They measured which approach worked best to clear the infection while causing fewer side effects and being easier for patients to complete.
