First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests two different triple-drug treatments for H. pylori, a stomach infection that can cause ulcers. About 88 adults with a positive stool test will receive either a standard proton pump inhibitor or a newer drug called vonoprazan, with or without zinc. The goal is to see which combination works best and is safest, by checking infection clearance and blood markers four weeks after treatment.
