Could a common stomach bug make lupus worse?

NCT ID NCT07157202

Summary

This study aims to understand if having a Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) stomach infection is linked to more severe lupus symptoms. Researchers will observe 115 adults with lupus, checking for the infection and measuring their disease activity. The goal is to gather knowledge about a possible trigger for lupus flares, not to test a new treatment.
