First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study will survey 500 non-medical adults in Upper Egypt to find out what they know about H. pylori infection, including how it spreads, how it is diagnosed, and what complications it can cause. The goal is to identify gaps in knowledge, attitudes toward testing and treatment, and barriers like cost or access to care. No treatment is given—this is purely a fact-finding survey.
