Could a common stomach bug be making your fatty liver worse?

Summary

This study aims to find out how many people with fatty liver disease (MAFLD) also have a common stomach infection called H. pylori. Researchers will test 200 adults with MAFLD for H. pylori using a stool test. The goal is to see if finding and treating this infection could be a new way to help manage fatty liver disease and improve patients' health.
