First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to treat H. pylori, a stomach infection that can cause ulcers. Doctors use a special gas (argon plasma) to treat fluid in the stomach, aiming to kill the bacteria during an endoscopy. The study involves 20 adults with untreated H. pylori. After the procedure, patients still receive standard antibiotics to ensure the infection is fully cleared.
