Gentle touch & bonding: can a simple program help babies heal after surgery?
NCT ID NCT07372898
Summary
This study is testing a program called H-HOPE, which teaches parents special massage and interaction techniques to use with their babies in the hospital. It aims to see if this helps infants born with birth defects recover better from major surgery by improving their feeding, growth, and development. The study also wants to know if the program reduces stress and improves mental health for parents during this difficult time.
