New therapy aims to help tiniest patients and their parents heal together
NCT ID NCT07372898
Summary
This study is testing a therapy called H-HOPE to help babies born with birth defects who need surgery. It teaches parents special techniques, like gentle massage and reading baby cues, to support their infant's recovery in the hospital. Researchers want to see if this approach improves the baby's feeding, growth, and development, while also reducing parent stress and improving bonding.
