Summary
This large, late-stage study is testing whether a new injectable drug called GZR18 works better and is as safe as existing diabetes medications. It involves 1100 Chinese adults whose type 2 diabetes is not well-controlled with their current metformin-based pills. The main goal is to see if GZR18 lowers long-term blood sugar levels more effectively.
