Researchers create better yardstick for GVHD treatment success

NCT ID NCT01902576

Summary

This study aims to develop better tools to measure whether treatments are working for chronic Graft-versus-Host Disease (GVHD), a serious complication that can occur after stem cell transplants. Researchers are following 383 patients who have started new treatments for chronic GVHD to create more accurate ways to track their response. The goal is to help doctors better predict which treatments will work for which patients in future clinical trials.
