NCT ID NCT05186857
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at how changes in the gut's bacteria and natural chemicals after a stem cell transplant might influence the development of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), a serious complication. Researchers will collect stool and blood samples from 88 transplant recipients and their donors before and after the procedure, tracking health outcomes for two years. The goal is to understand these biological changes to improve future prevention and treatment.
