Summary
This study tested whether personalized diet recommendations, created by analyzing a person's gut bacteria, could improve health in adults with obesity. Fifty participants in Colombia were randomly assigned to follow a 12-week personalized diet plan or continue their usual habits. The goal was to see if this approach could improve gut health, blood markers, and weight.
