Summary
This pilot study aimed to see if a new care pathway could help family doctors better diagnose and manage Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and reduce unnecessary referrals to stomach specialists. The study was designed for general practitioners in Nova Scotia, Canada, but was withdrawn before any participants enrolled. The goal was to improve care for patients with lower digestive issues.
