Scientists track how gut chemicals tell your brain You're full

NCT ID NCT06686888

Summary

This study aimed to understand how certain natural gut chemicals, called short-chain fatty acids, affect hormones that control hunger and fullness. Researchers tested 28 healthy adults by giving them capsules that released these chemicals in different parts of their intestines. They then measured hormone and blood sugar levels to see if the location in the gut made a difference.
