First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary

Researchers measured these hormones in 39 people who had bowel surgery and compared them to healthy volunteers. The goal was to better understand digestion problems after surgery, not to test a new treatment.
