Fiber supplement trial aims to soothe Veterans' gulf war illness

Summary
This study is testing whether a daily dietary fiber supplement can improve gut health and quality of life for Veterans with Gulf War Illness (GWI). About 52 participants with GWI and gut symptoms will take the fiber supplement or maintain their normal diet for four weeks. Researchers will check for changes in gut bacteria, symptoms, and overall well-being.
