Probiotic tested to soothe Babies' tummy troubles

NCT ID NCT05793112

Summary

This study tested whether a specific probiotic called INF108F could help breastfed infants with a food allergy that causes bloody stools and discomfort. Twenty infants received either the probiotic or a placebo for four weeks. Researchers checked if the probiotic changed the babies' gut bacteria and improved symptoms like reflux, sleep, and the presence of blood in their stool.
