Can changing what you eat calm your immune system? scientists test Diet's power over inflammation
NCT ID NCT07283328
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific diet low in the nutrient methionine can change the bacteria in your gut and reduce inflammation in the body. It involves 40 healthy adults who will follow the special diet for short periods while researchers check their stool, blood, and immune markers. The goal is to see if this approach could one day help prevent or manage diseases like multiple sclerosis by making the gut less inflammatory.
