Can fixing your gut save your brain? new study targets depression and memory
NCT ID NCT07462013
Summary
This study aims to see if non-drug approaches like physical activity, brain training games, and dietary supplements can help people with depression. Researchers want to find out if these lifestyle changes can reduce depressive symptoms and also help prevent or slow down memory and thinking problems that sometimes come with depression. They will measure changes in mood, thinking skills, and even gut bacteria to understand how it all works together.
