Summary

This study aimed to understand if there are differences in the gut lining of people with high blood pressure compared to those without it. Researchers analyzed small tissue samples taken during routine colonoscopies from 35 adults. They looked at gene activity and grew mini-gut models in the lab to compare the two groups.
