Scientists probe Gut's role in lung cancer treatment

Summary
This study aims to understand if the types of bacteria in a person's gut are connected to how well their lung cancer treatment works and what side effects they experience. Researchers will collect stool samples from 82 adults with advanced lung cancer before they start treatment and again after their first scan. The goal is to gather information that might help improve future cancer care, but this study itself does not test a new treatment.
