Could your gut hold the key to understanding scleroderma?
NCT ID NCT04132206
Summary
This study aims to understand if the types of bacteria in the gut are different in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) compared to healthy people. Researchers will collect stool samples from 60 participants—some with scleroderma and some without—to analyze their gut bacteria over time. The goal is to find a specific bacterial pattern linked to the disease, which could help guide future treatments.
