Scientists hunt for hidden gut bugs in Fiber-Loving volunteers
NCT ID NCT06166810
Summary
This study aims to discover and grow specific types of 'good' bacteria from the gut that thrive on a high-fiber diet. Researchers will collect stool samples from 10 healthy adults who eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and fiber. The goal is to learn more about these bacteria and their potential health benefits, but this is a basic research study, not a test of a treatment.
