Could your gut hold the key to beating melanoma?
NCT ID NCT07428252
Summary
This study aims to understand if the types of bacteria in a person's gut can predict how well they will respond to immunotherapy for advanced melanoma. Researchers enrolled 150 patients to collect stool and blood samples before and during their standard treatment. The goal is to see if specific gut bacteria profiles are linked to better treatment outcomes or fewer side effects.
