Could your Child's gut hold the key to better arthritis treatment?

NCT ID NCT04540432

Summary

This study aims to understand how the gut bacteria of children and teenagers with a type of arthritis change while they are on different standard treatments. Researchers will collect stool samples from 25 young patients to see if the makeup of their gut bacteria is linked to how well their arthritis responds to medication. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help doctors personalize treatment based on a patient's gut health.
