NCT ID NCT02738411
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at 130 premature babies born before 33 weeks to see if changes in their gut bacteria during the first 6 weeks of life are linked to their immune system type at age 3. Researchers will measure immune markers in blood samples to understand this connection. The goal is to learn more about early development, not to test a treatment.
