Could your gut hold the key to healing your heart?

NCT ID NCT07175181

Summary

This study aims to understand if the types of bacteria in a person's gut affect how well their heart recovers after a severe heart attack and a stent procedure. Researchers will observe 144 patients who have had a heart attack, measuring a specific gut-related substance in their blood and tracking their heart's health over time. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to future treatments, but this study itself does not test any new therapies.
