Summary
This study looks at a gene called csgA found in gut bacteria of people with Parkinson's disease who have or had stomach or bowel problems. Researchers want to know how common this gene is and how much it changes from week to week. The goal is to learn more about the role of gut bacteria in Parkinson's, which could help develop new treatments. About 200 adults aged 18 to 80 with Parkinson's will provide stool samples for testing.
