Could your gut hold the key to beating chronic pain?
NCT ID NCT03612193
Summary
This study aims to understand if the types of bacteria in a person's gut are linked to the severity and recovery from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a chronic pain condition. Researchers will collect stool samples from 140 adults with CRPS and their cohabiting partners to analyze their gut microbiomes. The goal is to see if specific bacterial patterns can predict which patients are more likely to recover over time.
