Scientists probe Gut's role in boosting cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07236983

Summary

This study aims to understand how the variety of bacteria in a person's gut (the gut microbiome) might influence how well they respond to cancer immunotherapy and whether it affects side effects. Researchers will observe 70 adults with solid tumors who are starting immunotherapy. They will collect stool and blood samples and track diet and body composition to look for connections.
