Summary
This study looked at the bacteria in the mouth and gut of 126 people to see if those with serrated polyposis syndrome have different bacteria than people without the condition. Researchers collected saliva and stool samples to compare bacterial types. The goal was to learn more about what causes this syndrome and its link to colorectal cancer.
