New hope for kids with severe psoriasis: major trial tests promising drug
NCT ID NCT03451851
Summary
This study is testing a drug called guselkumab to see if it can safely and effectively clear skin and improve quality of life for children and teenagers (ages 6 to 17) with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis. It's a large, late-stage trial comparing the drug against a placebo and another approved treatment. The main goal is to see how many participants achieve clear or almost clear skin after 16 weeks of treatment.
