Doctors get new training to stop gun injuries in kids
NCT ID NCT06123611
Summary
This study aims to prevent firearm injuries by training doctors and staff at three major children's trauma centers to talk with families about gun safety. It will involve up to 1,000 parents and young patients to see if the training helps doctors provide better safety advice and if families learn safer storage practices. The goal is to find the best way for hospitals to help reduce gun-related injuries and deaths in children.
