Gel tested to build stronger gums for dental implants
NCT ID NCT07053969
Summary
This study is testing if applying a special protein gel (Enamel Matrix Derivatives) during a routine dental implant procedure helps create thicker, more robust gum tissue around the implant. Researchers will compare gum thickness in 32 adults who receive the gel versus those who do not during their standard implant care. The goal is to see if this simple addition during surgery can improve the long-term health and stability of the implant site.
