First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested a new material (mucoderm) against the standard gum graft (connective tissue graft) for treating receding gums. 12 adults with gum recession on both sides of the mouth received one treatment on each side. The goal was to see if the new material covers the exposed tooth root as well as the standard graft, but with less pain and fewer complications.
