New gum stretching technique aims to reduce pain for dental patients
NCT ID NCT07365865
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods to add healthy gum tissue to areas where teeth are missing, before placing dental implants. Researchers want to see if a newer 'accordion' technique, which stretches a smaller graft, causes less pain and heals as well as the traditional method. The goal is to create a better foundation for future implants with less discomfort for patients.
