First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of gum graft material (microsurfaced acellular dermal matrix) against the standard material for covering exposed tooth roots. Twenty adults needing gum grafts will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two materials. Researchers will measure how well the graft covers the root, how the gum heals, blood flow, and patient comfort and satisfaction.
