First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested whether two substances—injectable platelet-rich fibrin (I-PRF) and hyaluronic acid gel—could speed up healing and reduce pain after a gum graft. 67 healthy adults received one of three treatments on their palate wound. Participants tracked pain and burning for a week and had follow-up visits for three months. The goal was to find a simple way to make recovery more comfortable.
