Summary
This study tested a specific gum surgery technique combined with a protein gel to treat deep bone loss caused by severe gum disease. Seventeen adults with advanced gum disease received the surgery. Researchers tracked improvements in gum health, pocket depth, and bone regrowth over six months to see if the combined approach was effective.
